10 ways to increase your vibration

These are some ideas which might help you to raise your vibration when you are feeling a bit 'off'. Read through and see which ones resonate with you.


1. Movement

Sometimes our energy becomes stagnant if we sit still for too long (think an office job for example) or if we stay in the same place for too long. This stagnant energy builds up and can leave us feeling heavy and weighed down without knowing why. Some people believe that emotions and feelings can also become stuck in the body. Movement allows this trapped energy to be released often resulting in us feeling better. Try basic movements like twisting at the waist, arm circles, jumping up and down, or yoga, walking, jogging or dancing.

2. Music

Listening to your favourite tunes can raise your vibration and make you feel better. Music has been proven to raise dopamine – 'the feel good' chemical in your brain. This can help improve your mood and make you feel better.

3. Meditation

Sitting quietly, breathing slowly and allowing a feeling of deep relaxation to wash over you can have a positive impact on how you are feeling. It has been said to reduce stress, improve focus and attention and may help with pain management and boosting the immune system.

4. Candlelit bath with essential oils.

If time permits, having a hot bath can help you relax and raise your vibration. Try listening to your favourite music at the same time. Adding essential oils and also make this a blissful experience.

5. Cold shower

Totally the opposite to the above suggestion, there are many benefits associated with having a cold shower. They are said to improve circulation, reduce muscle pain and inflammation and enhance mood. If you wish to try cold showers start off slowly with a short cold shower. Please seek medical advice if you have an underlying medical condition

6. Visualisation

Try visualising everything being just as you want, and you feeling amazing. Set a timer – maybe two minutes to start with, visualise yourself feeling better – what do you see/ hear / feel in this scene? Use all your senses and allow this to come to life in your head. This is a good way of manifesting if done regularly and can also shift your energy and raise your vibration.

7. Clear your aura

You can buy an aura clearing spray and spray that into your aura and this should shift your energy. You can also use grapefruit oil – put a small amount on your fingers and 'rake' through your aura with the intention of clearing it. Other ways to clear your aura include burning sage or palo santo through your aura and also visualising a golden disc oflight starting at your head and moving down your body removing any negative energy.

8. Gratitude

Start a gratitude practice. Write down 3-5 things you are grateful for each day. This shifts your energy and focuses on the positive things in your life.

9. Helping others

Simple every day acts of kindness towards others and being compassionate helps to foster high frequency energy and can put you in a better mood.

10. Creative pursuits.

Try creative expressions such as painting, singing or writing. Getting in touch with your creative side can bring joy and this can increase your frequency and enhance your mood.
